I was very satisfied with buying my WRX wagon from Brett at this dealership. He was helpful, relaxed and gave me a great deal on my order, even over the phone.

He kept me informed of the orders progress, returned phone messages and picked me and my son up at the Jack London train station. Pretty cool!

I too had a good purchasing experience with Brett. Very upfront without any BS.

i had a bad experience at oakland subaru particularly with the managers or owner. off the bat, they failed to even offer assistance and after they realized i had done my homework, they became very antagonistic and outright rude. they were willing to go down on prices, certainly, but i immediately went to albany ford subaru right afterwards and got the same price without any of the crap oakland gave me. just a terrible experience overall and insulted me when it became obvious they couldn't keep me there to purchase on the spot.

hmm... those guys probably got off wrong side of the bed that day..

I had a horrible non- test drive experience at downtown oakland subaru. They wouldn't let me test drive a WRX unless I was 'ready to buy today.' I couldn't believe the horrible treatment I received there. Do a search; needless to say I was disgusted by the lack of respect and professionalism.
