an engine with no valvesprings makes me feel funny in my pants.

They have a clothes pin style valve spring. On the closing rocker arm only.

I don't get it, Subarus are not in the same league as, say a Supra. Not sure why everybody is trying to do what they do with BIG dyno numbers.
