I just recieved my HKS Turbo Timer Type 0 from Options Auto Salon (www.optauto.com), and I would just like to warn you, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!

When I had ordered last Thursday, they neglected to let me know that the WRX wiring harness is on backorder, and that they have no idea when more will be in stock.

In addition to that shady situation, I recieved my timer yesterday. Not only had the package been opened and retaped several times, but the timer was obviously used. It had some of that 3M stickey stuff on the bottom - like someone had mounted it to the top of their dashboard before. And, the paint on both of the front corners of the timer itself was scratched and rubbed off from obvious wear & tear.

I couldn't believe that while I'm paying full price for this crap they would send me USED ELECTRONICS! What the **** are they doing down there at Options Auto?!?!

Anyways, I can't wait to give them a call today to start my yelling. Just a warning to you all.

Anyways, maybe you could post the results of your conversation with them here so we know how they treated your complaint?!

Oh My God!!! Are you kidding???? I jsut order the HKS TURBO TIMER from them!!! What is their phone no????? Ok, I get it....

Besides the used factor which I could not comment about, the harness does not come with the Timers as we are a dealer to for Greddy. It is a option and which you really do not need unless you want to easily unplug and take our your timer, for no apparent reason. You still have to splice wires as you would without the harness. The harness is on backorder from Greddy. That is the main issue, none of us have it!

Sorry for the bad experience. We hope you will resolve your situation professionally.

Hm...my co-worker bought the Blitz Dual Turbo Timer (with harness) with no problems. Ordered the product by phone...it was sitting on his desk a little more than a week later.

Uh oh I should have check here before I ordered my Blitz Fatt DC timer and harness!

BUT,

I've noticed they have been out of stock on the harness for awhile, it says so when you go to checkout. But today it shows IN STOCK! so I bought one!! I'll let you know what happens!

Well so far so good. My order was shipped the same day! I also got an e-mail from UPS with tracking info. Sweet!

i ordered stuff from there too, and it's almost been a month and i didn't get anything yet. they don't even send u an email to tell u when they will ship. they suck.

Well I got my Blitz FATT DC timer and HKS harness. Everything was packed nicely, invoice, etc. Everything went in fine too. This is a cool timer! I'm totally happy!!!

Oh they also have the best price I could find on this timer at only $78. Hell, total price for my order was $103 shipped!! Compare that to the $115 - $130 I've been quoted for just the timer alone!!

I ordered an HKS Type-1 and wiring harness from Optauto. I seem to remember ordering from them because the harness was "in stock". I went on vacation, returned, worked a week or so and then emailed them. They emailed back saying that the harness would not have been shown as "in stock" because they were out of them. It had been a month, and I was told to wait longer because they were "on their way". I just got it a few days ago. I ordered it on 8/16/01. I paid for three day shipping, and was expecting it much sooner. I am only posting this complaint to let you know that you are not alone.

These guys seem way overpriced and just want to make a quick sale.

I always thought they'd be more professional judging by the amount of time they've been around and their ads in SCC and SS.

My brother ordered me a Blitz FATT DC turbo timer from them and their site said that it was in stock and sent him an order confirmation and everything. I went online to check the status today and it is on backorder. Rediculous. I want my TT now damnit! I also oredered a HKS TT wire harness from them the same day and I got a tracking number already, so I don't know what is up with them. Seems like they need to perfect the on-line ordering process.

I've had about the same experience. Needed a TT harness, so I checked their site, said it was in stock. I called to make sure. The guy said it WAS in stock and if I ordered that day (2 weeks ago tomorrow) that it'd ship the next day. Shipping it the next day meant I'd have it 2 days later according to the USPS website. Well, it's been almost two weeks and I don't have it. No e-mail replies, it's a BITCH to call (99% of the time it's BUSY), and when I get the online order status all it says is that my harness hasn't shipped yet. I paid $25 for the harness+shipping and expected the thing about a week or so ago. Oh yeah, they won't reply to my emails either. This is getting old.

The main reason I ordered from them was because all the other places I called said they'd have to order the harness from their distributor because they didn't stock them. Well, in that case I could have had it from the other places by now, drop shipped from the other side of the country! ACK!

I got my HKS TT and Harness, GW boost guage from them. they were fast and I didn't find anyone who has lower hks TT type 1 with lower price than optauto. I think they are great. I am sorry about your bad experiences.

I never had a problem three months ago when I ordered my TT harness, it came in as advertised and said in stock when I ordered it. It came in in less then a week after I ordered it.

I ordered a Blitz DTT, Blitz harness, and AEM pullies from them, and and paid $22 for 2-Day shipping. They didn't have the pullies, so they sent the timer and harness via 2-day. About a week later, the pullies were sent out...ground shipping. I should be expecting them in about a week. Now, why did I pay $22 for shipping of items that weigh no more than 2 pounds? It's not my fault they didn't have the pullies to send at the same time as the harness and timer. Plus, $22 for shipping is ridiculous anyhow!

The timer and harness were registered with UPS as ~2lbs. They were sent 2-Day. UPS cost - $12.66

AEM Pullies registered with UPS as ~2 lbs. Also would have been $12.66. SInce they shipped them UPS Ground, $5.78

So not only did they not have any notification the pullies weren't in stock, they made money off of the shipping.

Don't order the WRX headlights they are selling. It's just the JDM version of the USDM headlights. Which means No Orange thing on the bulb.
