View Full Version : WTB: 2000 2.5RS cat section/aftermarket midpipe/axleback
AcquaCow 10-24-2005, 05:31 PM New headers going on soon, but my cat section/mid-pipe flanges are all rusted to the point that taking them apart will make them never to back together properly.
I'm looking for any more exhaust bits folks may have lying around, especially a fairly low mileage cat section.
I've sourced everything but the cat section at this point, so I need a cat section ASAP!!!
Thanks,
-- Dave
AcquaCow 10-27-2005, 01:39 PM Bump!
xenonk 10-27-2005, 04:22 PM 2 words:
straight pipe
tweakling 10-27-2005, 04:37 PM I don't want anything that's welded together either, so Buster's old setup is out of the question.
Curses!
SureGrap 10-27-2005, 04:52 PM I still have my stock '01 RS axle-back you can have.
WRXWagon2112 10-27-2005, 05:15 PM Would any of the following work?
All stock pieces for '02 WRX -
Downpipe (obviously not needed but thought I might throw that in)
Cat-pipe
Mid-pipe

AcquaCow 10-27-2005, 05:18 PM Nah, I have all of that out on my deck.
I want RS specific things that I won't have to cut/bend/rotate/weld/etc...
Thanks anyways,

AcquaCow 05-29-2007, 11:40 AM Bump.
Have everything but the cat section.
SubieNOVA 05-29-2007, 09:56 PM post this in a WTB RS25. I did this just the other week and found half a dozen people trying to unload their cat.
Look around online, you can get direct fit cat sections. They'll look different from stock, but will work fine. I got one a year ago, I believe a DEC brand one that passed my emissions just fine. It has larger piping than the stock section as well... Something to think about..
