ok, i figured i would try to get my christmas shopping done early this year. here is my situation:

my dad is in the process of buying a new camry and is really into his i-pod. what is the best way to hook that up in the car? also, should i just go with an adapter for the stock unit, or are there any aftermarket units that are just plug and play?

now, for my sister's car. 99 civic, with no tape deck or cd player- just radio. i just want to put a basic cd head unit in- cheap and nothing fancy. she lives in DC and parks in the street so i didn't want to get anything too expensive in case it gets stolen.
