I don't have a turbo, and I want my new 06 2.5i to last for a long time.

BUT, i want just a smidge more power. So i figured the best course of action would be to do the two basic air-flow upgrades, a cold-air intake and a performance exhaust.

I need YOU, Impreza community, to steer me in the right direction. I have a fair amount of money to spend, so I don't need to go bargain basement... but if it's cheap and will get the job done, then that would be good...

The major constraint i have is that i want a QUIET exhaust. I don't want to sound like a giant can opener buzzing about. I'm not into that whole deep throaty sound thing...

So, what are your recommendations, brands, types, etc? Let me know, thanks!

I'm looking for the same help as well---I drive an 06 wagon to. I can't find any info on exhaust systems or cai----and aftermarket foglights.---Hmm maybe somebody will help.

Not use to searching so much for aftermarket parts---use to drive a Honda---infinite suppy of aftermarket goodies.

I prefer an exhaust that would bring out the boxer rumble sound.

Intake and a catback will add almost no HP increase.
go to the Cobb Tuning website and check around a little.
