garface 11-14-2005, 11:54 AM Clarify that they won't fit an 04 STi?

Stu
They won't. I think you can mod them, but I wouldn't bother. The lower bolt holes are spaced differently.
WRX8XB 11-14-2005, 03:09 PM what color are the Dots on the front springs?
FLAT4motorsports 11-14-2005, 11:35 PM the suspension will only fit the 2005 and 2006 STi cars with the new hubs.....they will not fit anything else as far as I know......I would also not recommend that they be modified....
WRX8XB.....I'll check the colours out tomorrow.....I can't remember.....
subrandon 11-21-2005, 02:55 PM I saw some sti aluminum control arms on you web site.

FLAT4motorsports 11-23-2005, 11:42 PM another bar sold!!! thanks!!!!
StevieD 11-27-2005, 11:39 AM WRX8XB.......the dots are green and blue....sorry for the delay...
Pretty sure those suspensions are the Spec C, not RA Spec C I believe. The RA Spec C comes with 4 way adjustable struts, ~360ft/lbs springs.
Also, that is sound advice you're giving about not being modified. Someone here did that to make them work on pre-2005's and it makes be cringe to hear what he did.
FLAT4motorsports 11-30-2005, 11:42 PM another steering wheel sold......THANKS!!!!
Thorshamm 12-12-2005, 06:33 PM do you still have any of the Ti-front strut-tower bars left (and will they fit 05 STi)?

FLAT4motorsports 01-06-2006, 07:47 PM new lowered price on the shocks.....
rlhobbs 01-07-2006, 12:27 AM If you have a set of pre 2005 (before the change over) STI front struts you can swap the internals on the front and just throw the rears on. Thats what I did. They just unbolt from the bottom, wasnt too bad. I have an 02 with the same setup (E type STI Spec C) on my car now and luv it.
FLAT4motorsports 01-17-2006, 02:20 PM 2 more Ti strut bars left, and 1 Steering wheel......
thanks to all who purchased!!!
steelhead 01-17-2006, 04:05 PM Price on Ti bar shipped to 48236 just over the border please

FLAT4motorsports 02-06-2006, 11:03 PM New price for the 2005 suspension.....These gotta go....Selling them for less than what we paid!!! These are as new!!
wheets 02-07-2006, 03:35 AM What are those off of? The Spec C RAs have the 4 way adjustable struts, and I was pretty sure the regular Spec Cs just had JDM pinks...
Can anyone who has this set-up let me know how stiff it is? Would it be way too harsh for a daily driver?
FLAT4motorsports 02-07-2006, 01:36 PM the suspension sets came off of 2005 STi RA's with the 16" wheel option that came with black group"n" 4 pots.........They are non-adjustable unless you got a special street version etc....The ride will be a bit stiffer than the USDM STi and with a slightly lower stance.....These come with the tarmac version springs which have the appropriate spring rates...they come pre-assembled with the proper struts and strut tops....They are not harsh....but lets the car handle as it was suppose to..
garface 02-07-2006, 01:39 PM Are those inverted? You sure those aren't "throwaway" parts that come off some of those RA's because they'e meant to be replaced.
FLAT4motorsports 02-07-2006, 01:45 PM garface..
yes they are inverted....
also, what type of person do you think I am?
Do you think I would actually try to tarnish my reputation by selling "throw away" parts to the people of NASIOC?
I would appreciate it if you would retract your post by erasing it...and then so will I.
if what you contribute doesn't help me sell my parts please don't post in my threads....
garface 02-07-2006, 01:54 PM I didn't mean that you were knowingly selling bad parts or that the parts are actually garbage, they just call those parts throwaway parts, like the spec c steelies or small brakes. What I'm wondering is if these are equal to or better than an STi suspension, or if they are considered a lower model suspension? Hope that cleared that up. Sorry if you took it the wrong way.
FLAT4motorsports 02-07-2006, 02:05 PM sorry,...I did take it the wrong way.....I do my best to sell only the best stuff I can to all that buy from me. I have sold a few sets of this suspension setup and everyone has been very happy......some have been running them since last summer....So I assumed all is well....
Now I understand.......but I hope you undertsand why I reacted the way I did.....So many people/vendors get bashed here and I never want to be one of them since I try very hard to take care of everyone.....and sell only the best and newest parts, although they might not be the least expensive..
the suspension is marked with the green and blue dots on the fronts springs just as any other RA-C suspension sets I have ever sold....so I assume they are better than standard STi......
FLAT4motorsports 02-19-2006, 12:36 PM still a few strut bars and suspension setups left........
StevieD 02-19-2006, 01:36 PM sorry,...I did take it the wrong way.....I do my best to sell only the best stuff I can to all that buy from me. This suspension is actually the Spec C, the RA Spec C is 4 way adjustable. It's probably best to label them that way, that way the buyer is getting the right part (irrespective of the vehicle it came from)
Bump for a good retailer

It's basically the same as the V8 Spec C, only this black set only fits the 2005+ STI only. It is not 4 way adjustable and isn't really a RA Spec C Setup, but is a Spec C. It's a pretty good all around setup to be honest.
FLAT4motorsports 02-19-2006, 01:41 PM thanks for the tip.....you have a point.....I ammended my description, but my title didn't....I guess only the mods can do that............
thanks!!
