Do any of you guys have the crank pulley from Cobb on ur RS' ? I was thinking about picking one up, but Im wondering if there are better pullies out there, and Im curious about the gains you guys have got. Im looking for strictly stock diameter pullies, that dont have underdrive or other negative effects.
What would you recommend? and Whats the opinion about the cobb peice?

Also, im looking at the stock diameter set from unorthodox racing for my car. Would the set be much better than just buying the crank pulley alone? Are there any negative effects of changing the pullies ? (to stock diameters of course)

no negative effects, get them and you will be happy.

Okay but do u recommend going with the set? Or just the crank pulley? and if just the c-pulley, then which one, Cobb or UO ?

There is not a significant difference from what I understand between just the crank and all 3. The other two are very small, therefore much less rotational momentum. You could calculate the theoretical HP gain if you had the weight specs of each of the 3 pullies.
Bottom line, I personally don't think the other two are worth it power-wise...looks, maybe.
Also check out Mr. Josh's pulley. Cheaper, same quality. http://www.mrjosh43.com

Well what about the weights of all of them? What would be the lightest, yet best quality pulley out there? again , Im going to say only stock diameter will do for me. I dont want complications.

I don't think everyone knows the exact weight of all of them off the tops of their heads. Which means they would have to look it up, just the same as you can.

im just asking for the guys with actual experience with it, or who own a few different types of pullies. claimed gained HP and TQ I hear can be way off from real gains

Correct me if i'm worng, but wouldn't a lightened pulley some how effect engine braking?
