The HP number is the highest I've seen...you sure this is a dyno number.

lol my 20g only made 312whp/314 wtq on a dynojet. 330/340 is crazy power out of the vf39, which dyno was this?

it wasn't dynoed on the road. the place i went is called subaru lachute in quebec they only work with subaru and they have there on rally team.
they tuned my car on the road for hour and half they told me that they are usually pretty accurate with hp numbers. anyway they have a very good reputation in canada,
and they constantly proved even on a dynoe that you can get that power out of sti with does mods and tuning

yea i beg to differ, my buddy went to lachute and they told him that he was making upwards of 350whp+. we threw it on a local dynojet and it didnt even break 300. so whatever number they give you subtract 50 ;)

why is everyone always so negative in this forum, they have a very good reputation i have never heard anything bad from them.

every1 has a few skeletons in their closet. im sure you do too.

They're not really being negative, just realistic. With those mods, 330 whp is not likely. They may have a great reputation, and their tune may be very good, but their dyno numbers are inflated. Whether that's done to make people feel better about their cars or to sell more services, etc. I don't know, but those numbers sound very high for your mods.

but they constantly prove over and over.
plus they are 2002 and 2003 raly canadian rally champion.
they told me that there is potential on a stock turbo that people dont realize
ive reach the max. if my sti was a 2004 model because the ecu is different they told me the could ove got 10more horsepower. 2004 ecu is better then 2005, and 2005 is better then the 2006.

Ultimately you have to remember the title of this forum is Proven Power Bragging. Not Estimated Power Bragging. If you're unhappy with the response you received get a dyno sheet (crayon not allowed) and come back and post up.

Whatever Dyno you'll test on, the numbers will always differ anyways. Of course if these guys say that 330whp is impossible they must be right...

We'll schedule something up with the Dyno Dynapack at spring time ;)

No arms guys, were use to hear that sorts of stuff !!!

Take it to the strip and see what it does.

or don't

It's your car and if your happy with it that's all that matters.

I call BS. Do you believe EVERYTHING people tell you when they offer no proof? The only time I've ever seen proven numbers like that on the stock turbo are with 95/100 octane and even then, we're talking 31x hp/34x tq. If it's true, you have a freak car.

Well, hes part right. 04 STi's typically put down more power than 05's. But 06's seem to be stronger then previous years...

Wow, everybody is right... !

Let's take this back to the begining:
What you should all kno is that the "Dyno" numbers that have been posted are from "EcuTeK Road dyno" What should have been done is not posting the end results BUT post the before and after results.

This is, again, a demonstration of lack of information.

The Road Dyno is reliable, as long as you use it to compare multiple runs (before and after) to see the gains.

Also, it needs to be done on the same road and same condition, preferably the same day. If you do it up hill and then down hill Obviously the time will ge different so will the HP and Torque.

You can also visit the EcuTeK forum for more detailed informaiton.
