A friend of mine is selling her '91 Miata. Specs are as follows:

91 Special Edition – 95K
Anti-lock brakes
Limited slip differential
Power windows, doors, etc.
Leather interior
CD Player
New brakes

It needs body work on the front end: needs hood, left fender, bumper, left light assembly, windshield - Frame integrity is fine

Roof leaks a bit during heavy rain

Has CT salvage title and will need to pass DMV inspection if registering it. $1,000 firm.

This would be a nice setup for me (for autox/fun). Not sure how things go here in NH with salvage titles, and unfortunatly I need to hold off on purchasing a 2nd vehicle until after the wedding. :(

Turbo or supercharge - either would perk up a lowly Miata. I'm sure that would clearly put it into the 'breaks parts often category'!

Yes, I've driven Alex's car at every track - except LRP - don't know why I missed out there. A lot of fun. How about a Miata to add to your collection?
