Im trying to decide between the Perrin or the Vividracing Crank Pulley. The vivid one is .2 lbs lighter but I trust the perrin name more. What would u get?

Just search Vivid's name in the vendor reviews section for the answer to your question.

Lightest? Look this up http://www.staticxmotorsports.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=23&idproduct=4

and see if you like it.

As far as i know, STI pulley is same as RS's, proof is, Perrin's pulley is the same for both.

Isn't the bomz pulley underdriven? Did you get it off ebay?

Let me be the first to say the N/A power forums are becoming really lame as of late, especially with stupid questions like this

Come on man! It's a pulley. Are you really going to notice a difference of .2lbs? NO! How hard is it for people to choose something like a pulley? Have you all gone retarded? I might have to put a turbo on my car or do a swap if the questions in the N/A fourm continue to be this stupid.

To the OP, next time you have a question you want to ask, don't. The elitists and the posers here are so intelligent and smart that they simply will not answer your lame, stupid and ignorant question.

Yes, i know that you have to start somewhere. Usually, if the better ones here responds to your inquiry, they'll tell you to "search". Which is one way of saying to you to read up on the topics that interest your particular agenda. It's okay, most of the users here do that, they're sometimes referred to as "lurkers".

As for these people who knows everything then try to scold you like a child, just ignore them. They like to feel superior and think that it makes them look better to other members of this board. One more thing, these same people like to argue a lot and debate you to no end, they sound impressive in written form but will not actually do the same face to face cuz in real life there is always someone, somebody out there that will get offended and is more reckless, short tempered and more violent of an individual than they are.

So, either you lower your sensitivity meter a bit and continue asking away or you could be a lurker. Good luck with your modding.........

Whatever man  I can see you answered his question as well as I did. I'm only saying this because if you look at the N/A page, you will see there are all ready three topics on "which pulley should I buy?" So no, I don't think I'm better than anyone, but I've put in the time, and done lots of reading on these forums to know whats up. Oh, and if I had three people come and ask me the same quetion at the same time, yeah I would be nice and answer them, but if one of them came back and asked me again and again I would tell them they're retarded and that they should just not buy anything for their car.

Now. Im going to do something good for everyone here. I'm starting a new pulley thread, and am going to ask the mod to make it a sticky. So there.

I bought mine from Rallitek for like $120. Actually, they are on sale right now and i think you can get em cheaper. I believe they do group buys too, so you and some buddies can get an even better deal. Its worth it. I like mine a lot and it adds some bling to the engine. I got the Agency Power pulley. They sell Perrins also. I didnt know what to do when I got mine so I called them and they told me they do EXACTLY the same thing. Weigh the same (+ or - .1 lbs or so) and they are not undedriven so you dont affect the alternator's current supply or the power steering and all the other good stuff that you want to drive with. Those guys at Rallitek are really helpful. Give them a call or get on their forum. They do really good business. They gave me "Birthsay shipping" once b/c I'm on the forum and they knew it was my b-day. Super nice and super helpful. I've spent hours on the phone with them learning how to better tune my perfect power ecu. If you have questions call them up and ask them. www.rallitek.com
