View Full Version : ATTN ALL: Vendor Satisfaction Survey

Imprezer

I Club is going to perform a series of polls about vendors. Basically it will be a poll asking people to give a feedback about a certain vednor. Then, each vendor will get a rating based on the feedback.

For example

KARTBOY KUSTOMS

On a scale 1-5, how likely are you to do business with KK in the future based on your past experiences with them.

1 - I Will Never Deal With Them Again
2 - Not Likely
3 - Possible
4 - Very Possible
5 - Most Definetely

The polls will stay sticky and open a week at a time. Then based on the feedback, each vendor will get a rating. Then, every 2 months we will re-open the same polls. That will alow new members to vote. The the rating will be adjusted. Then the polls will be closed and open again every month. This will give everyone an opportunity to vote and for vendors it will give them an opportunity to adjust their rating. Then, every 6 months we will reset the polls and everyone will be allowed to vote again. This way the vendors will be able to regain their customer confidence and customers will be able to change their mind about a certain member.

So, if you are a vendor and you would like to test your customer's confidence, please reply here and I will add your name to the list.

I think this will work. ;)

I'm not actually classified as a vendor but I do sell quite a bit of stuff in the private classifieds. I sell the Mesh kits for the 98-01 RS and soon the 97+ Legacy, and the WRX, and I would love to get in on this. Looks like you have to be a vendor though.:( Oh well, btw Alex great idea. A lot of us have been waiting for something like this. :)

Time for some of the vendors in her to put up or shut up.......Now it's the customers turn to have our say...good or bad.........

the options

1 - I Will Never Deal With Them Again
2 - Not Likely
3 - Possible
4 - Very Possible
5 - Most Definetely

Will not work because some things you can only get from one vendor. Even if you have had bad service with them you might have to use them again.

the questions should be more like

Has the vendor replied in a timely manner?
Has all problems been taken care of?
Has the products been represented correctly by the vendor?
etc etc

with each having a rating of 1-5 being 1 dissatisfied to 5 being very satisfied.

Then all responces can be rolled up in to a review. Kind of like the Review system in home theater mag's

I do like the idea of a survey and a member raiting.

Just saying if you will use a vendor again or not is not saying much.

Can Imprezer be considered a vendor?

I'm just thinking about things like the Japanese magazine GB. It has apparantly fell apart now that the topic is no longer sticky...

I'm sure there was more than enough people in there to satisfy the order size requirement last time I looked.

I like david2z4`s idea. We need to be able to add comments.

I`ve had dealings with vendors that have been good with some issues but bad with others. Some might have good prices but slow turn around for example.

We also need to be able to keep it annonymous. I don`t want to be blackballed because of my comments about a vendor.

just my .02 cents

Looks like a lot of vendors are either scared or on vacation!
You can try e-mail or PM, but I think it might be a problem with some of them because they may not get back to you.

My Magazine GB didn't fall anywhere. In my last post I stated that I need more people and I got no response. There is a minimal order I HAVE to submit so if I cannot fill it up, I cannot order.

If all of you ordered double what you wanted (2 magazine instead of one) it would work fine. As is, I cannot do it yet. I will, however, be placing my order for the newest magazines and sell them on a basis of first come first serve.

Alex,

Counting from your last post in there, I count an increase of the order size for about 16 or 17 more magazines. You said maybe 14 more. This sounds like it met the criterea to me.

If it's going to revive, I might still want Impreza #11. Any idea of there is a Perfect Guide for GD series Imprezas?

Are we talking about the same thread?

I'm not trying to attack anyone here....just trying to figure out what happened.

I'll love to do it, imprezer- put me up there!!

BTW, i think vendors like Kartboy and I should have Product Polls too- since we make the things we sell. We're not just resellers rated on our customer appreciation, we also should be rated on the quality of our product.

We're game. I think we could only benefit by hearing more about what our customers think and suggestions on how we can improve.

Hey, I got stuck while travelling (or almost travelling) and just saw this post. (I am back at Primitive HQ now)

Although I have a feeling that this polling method may not provide truly accurate readings, since many people don't frequent this forum and many satisfied customers will probably not bother to reply, Primitive is willing to give it a try.

Primitive always strives to give the best service and good prices on rally-tested products at www.get-primitive.com.

What will it mean if a vendor doesn't put their name in the ring?

I think that David2z4's comments are valid.

I'm new in this and my web site is not even up yet. I'm hoping soon you will hear more of me. I'm working on the 2.5 motors and the new 2 liter. I get my parts from MRT Rally from Australia. I'm in the Houston area and have been working on two WRXs so far

Kevin and I would gladly allow you to poll us. Although we aren't on the board much and don't have a very broad customer base, we have sold items and need to know what our customers think of us.

We have had some problems with our side markers getting in and out on time and had to drop our WRX body kits as our suppliers just couldn't get back to us to supply pricing and thus we assumed they wouldn't be able to produce the products in the high demand of e-mails we were receiving about it.

Thanks,

Kevin & Jon

There should be an entire Vendor Review Forum with polls from every vendor. It would definitely help both the customers and the businesses. Customers will get an idea of quality, service, support, reliability, etc. and vendors will learn how to improve on their businesses. It's a win-win situation.

While having vendors nominate themselves for the polls is good, what about those vendors that don't want to be nominated over fear of the results?

I think if you're going to rank some vendors, you need to rank all of them, IMHO. I know that the logistics of running all of those simultaneous polls would be a pain, but it'd cut down on the threads that have like 100 replies about a specific vendor.
