Where were all you guys? I know Noah thinks Wendover is too far to drive. But Turbo, you missed out, there were only 2 guys in SM and I know you could have killed one of them. Cheater, STS was a way fun battle.

We had several national competitors out here (including last years BS national champ from Colorado). The course was about 80 seconds long, with a 3rd gear slolom, and another slolom that you could get into 3rd but not for long. It was designed very similar to last year's national south course. It took over 20 minutes to walk the course it was so long.

I had a fast enough time that my PAX would have been just 0.1 behind the BS national champ but I had to hit a damn cone that run. So Matt ended up winning STS. I coned both of my fastest runs. Ron Bauer (not sure of spelling) the AS guy that does well at nationals and is an Evolution instructor was the announcer for our run group. It was great hearing him make fun of STS for all the cones we were hitting (especially Matt's car which accounted for almost 30, Matt having about 20 of those, others were from Subaru co-driver Yaniv). We got 6 runs and the weather was not as bad as usual out in Wendover.

Oh well, figures i'd miss out on another event where i was almost assured a trophy.

Does the Snake River region have an SM class? Maybe i can get at least one trophy this year up there. Octoberfast is pretty fun and i will be making that trip.

Up in Pocy all their SM guys runs some class called DSM that they made up in that region. I am not sure what DSM is, but it does mean they aren't running your class.

Sm this weekend was only FSA in his 510 and some guy in an old Mustang LX, he's the one you would have beat. I got pretty close in raw time to FSA, I think I was about 1/2 second off.
