Heading to the drags for the 1st time. I've noticed that I have to launch at higher RPM's to keep the car from bogging vs. the stock td04. Blipping the throttle up & slipping the clutch at 4k used to launch great...but with the VF34 all I get is bog. I'm guessing it takes more throttle to build boost in the VF34. Since I've been blipping it up to 5-5.5k and slipping...this usually either launches the car decently, but not as well as in the past.
What techniques do other VF34 owners have to a good launch?

 They don't really talk about technique...thought this would be a better forum for that discussion. :p

5500rpm and a decent job of feathering it should net you a decent launch. If you're still having issues bogging, pump the tires up a bit.....or a lot.
the VF-34 should be able to light the front up pretty good if you've got the tires pumped up and hit it hard on the launch. Once you get the flavor of doing that, just back off a tad and you're getting really close to a perfect launch.

I'm going to finish the clutch off. :o I'm visiting the parents in Tampa for the holidays, I have nothing to do Saturday and the track is a short drive away.

yeah, I noticed around 5500 gets a great launch, and I light up my tires too. I feather instead of holding constant, try to time it to let go when you rev up, and you should be kicking some ass if the planets align.

5500? I got 06 can the stock clutch take that on a vf34 with all the supporting mods?
