I put a MBC on a friend's 05 STI and then he removed it so he could move some hoses around ... well now that the MBC is gone, the car gets MASSIVE boost spikes 1.3 bar ...

Ive talked to some ppl .. I need a picture of the stock sti vf39 vacuum hose setup OR some help.

I have the shot 3" hose from the Tfitting going to the compressor nipple, this hose has the restrictor in it.

Then in line with that hose on the other end of the T i have the hose to the stock BC

ANd on the perpendicular part of the T i have a hose going to the wastegate. I replaced this hose with another one, same result!

Im curious as to where the problem cuold be. I think i hooked it up for him properly BUT Im unsure.

Any help (not stupid insults) would be greatly appreciated!

Is the vacuum setup the same on the 04 and the 05? cause his looks like mine, so maybe thats why?

yep, reset his ECU, he has the cobb stage 2, no issues beforehand

i think im gonna just run a hose from the compressor to the wastegate. might be his stock boost silenoid.
