View Full Version : Cross Member Question????? egytian2.5rs 11-28-2005, 04:59 AM so i am in the middle of doing my swap right now, and i have a question that is probally......well probally a stupid one. but, anyways my crossmember is off a right hand drive car so the whole thing is backwards. now can i flip it, or do i take off the steering rack, an use the steering rack off my RS?????? thanks mohamed HndaTch627 11-28-2005, 05:40 AM there's nothing backwards about it, the RHD and LHD cross members are identical...the rack mounts the same way regardless egytian2.5rs 11-28-2005, 05:46 AM there's nothing backwards about it, the RHD and LHD cross members are identical...the rack mounts the same way regardless ok maybe not backwards, but i dont know what its called but the part the attaches to the steering wheel is on the wrong side JeremyRS 11-28-2005, 09:03 AM if they are identical, then you will need to just swap the rack, and use your LHD rack.
