Hi everybody,
I need a lil bit of help. I was driving back to NC last night from GA and i noticed my rear view mirror looked weird, it had an oil like liquid in it and air bubbles. the auto dimmer seems to be broken. The images in the rear view mirror look fuzzy. Is this something anybody has experienced? What about replacement parts? Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks!

You will probably need a new mirror. Sounds like the glass has fractured somewhere. Sounds like a warranty item if you are still eligible.

Im at 65K now and i dont have extended warranty. Do i need to get an original part for this??? odd that it broke.. it wasnt really that cold.
Advice about where I can get parts ?

You can use any mirror, just make sure the mounting brackets are the same. They make may universal ones, the only difference is the brackets. They are about $10.00

P.S. This does NOT apply if you have the auto dimming compass mirror

Check eBay I have seen plenty of OEM mirrors come up from time to time, and rarely, but it does happen if you can use side mirrirs for a while i'd say wait for another auto dimmer, I am in love with mine, when I get in my cg I hate adjusting the mirror
