Probably typo, otherwise the makes of the fast and furious are more retarded then most thought, or they have some made driving skills. Vin Diesel needs to teach me to drive!
02redwagone 11-30-2005, 05:07 AM Hand break up and locked in dorifto mode?
LiLpNoY 11-30-2005, 05:25 AM okay so i'm not crazy. I was thinking maybe i should remove the rear driveshaft on my STi so I could be cool like Paul Walker. *whew* LoL
fc6666 11-30-2005, 05:25 AM it was better stock.....blasphemy
prob made it ff, so ricers used to their civics could "drift" it
02redwagone 11-30-2005, 05:41 AM Didn't (predominantly front drive) handbrake drifting start in residential Japan before any organized rear drive competition events came about? I may be dead wrong. (or at least set ablaze) But oh well.
Not that it makes this graphical marvel of rice any less Hollywood logical.
LiLpNoY 11-30-2005, 05:44 AM yep, drifting is i think around ten years old.
fc6666 11-30-2005, 05:51 AM not that any one cares, but on the subject of rice/drifting bandwagon, there is supposed to be an Initial D live action movie,(not HK) made in the US in the works, one of the guys at Suncoast told me when i was getting more bmi crap.
Mavrik 11-30-2005, 01:12 PM I thought drifting required two things... skill and rear wheel drive? Why remove the rear wheel drive? You can't drift that way. All subaru drift cars are rear wheel drive.
WRXnFX 11-30-2005, 03:48 PM If they did remove the rear drive shaft, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to convert it back. I wonder if this car is street legal? They never mention it. The could have shipped it over without getting it converted because they used it for racing purposes. This would be a good buy if you have connections in Japan so you can get the missing parts.
You can drift a FF but it takes a little different technique.

That is to say, "Tech-u-ni-ku".
OKRS25 11-30-2005, 08:48 PM The seller seems pretty legit, been on ebay a few years and bought a crashed SRT-10 Ram for 25k back in August and got good feedback.
I highly doubt the car is street legal. The movie companies are not going to shell out $80 to 100k to legalize a car just to beat on it when they can bring them in for a fraction less.

Basically, I interpreted the offer as own a piece of movie memoribilia for (Buy it now price $60k).
Does the car come with the script and toys? I get upset when they don't put a toy in my happy meal. :furious: It hade better have those extras.
pornstar1969 11-30-2005, 09:19 PM that has to be the ugliest skyline i have ever seen
AK_2002_WRX 11-30-2005, 09:26 PM thats an EVO wing it has on...
SparkysJDMSpeedWagon 12-01-2005, 12:16 AM There have been hundreds, probably even thousands, of modified Skylines that are better-looking than that. Did anybody read the Turbo Magazine where they drove Paul Walker's personal R34? Tomei shortblock, HKS twin turbos, Tomei ECU, etc. Only made (if I remember) 415whp, and the staff blew the motor while they were testing it  Also had Prodrive wheels  Good job, Paul.

i agree to that 100%
AKSubie 12-01-2005, 07:00 PM So he really wasnt acting when he was wrenching on cars and blowing them up?
