I post this hear since most of you have installed or will be using AVCS cams to make big power, especially torque across the rev range up to redline - as much as possible.
My dilemma is slightly different.
I have an auto and will be looking to go 400+chp, but currently, I am NA and going turbo in the very near future.
I currently have AVCS on my 2l motor and will be swapping in the 2.5l sti block.
In my research, I will looking for a cam for both applications, since I do not want to change cams for a while
My problem is, I have look at cams for many NA applications and I notice that there have a variety with duration and lift. I understand that NA love lift, while turbo loves duration.
For the guru's, looking @ the specs below, how would each AVCS cam affect an engine and maybe, especially subaru engines.
All specs are at Duration @ .050"
