Turn in Concepts

Instead of opening and closing threads for every little thing we're just going to do one suspension thread per month, and update that. For December here's what we've got:

Whiteline XSF36XXZ (formerly known as X3006) -
This is the big bar for your STi. When I say big I mean it. Starts out at a beefy, solid 27mm and adjusts up to 29mm. This bar is hard to get, and we only have a few left. Pricing is set at $210 per bar. Here's the direct link:
http://turninconcepts.com/product_info.php?products_id=58

Turn In Concepts fender cowl braces -
People have been waiting for these for a long long time, and we stepped up to fill the need. Made from 6061 aluminum, and anodized hard black to protect against the elements these braces are WAY stiffer than the stock stamped steel pieces and are a little lighter too. The purpose of these is to strengthen the union between the A-pillar and the front upper frame member to reduce chassis flex. These will fit the GD and GH chassis (we have a set out for testing on the GC now, if they fit we'll update here). Pricing is set at $95 per set. Here's the direct link:
http://turninconcepts.com/product_info.php?products_id=56

Turn In Concepts Better Backend Bundle -
This is a sweet bundle has been put together for you WRX and RS drivers. It consists of the Whiteline 22-24mm rear sway bar, the incredibly strong Kartboy rear endlinks, and the sweet TiC rear diff mount bushings. Improve the overall handling of your car with the bar and the endlinks, and fix that high RPM diff clunk while letting the backend provide better feedback and control with the rear diff mount bushings. Bundle is specific to the model year car you have so be sure to order the one that is appropriate. We have recently updated the price on this bundle and you can now pick up this sweet kit for the incredible price of $250. Here's the direct link to both styles:
http://turninconcepts.com/index.php?cPath=1_9_7_43_74

Kartboy Endlinks -
Awesome, awesomely radical to the max (dude) endlinks from Kartboy for your RS or WRX. Solid anodized aluminum body with high strength urethane bushings. Hey, they come from Kartboy so you know they rock (if you don't know that then just spend some time around here and you'll see what I mean). We've got them in stock and price is set at $100. Here's the direct link:
http://turninconcepts.com/product_info.php?products_id=51

Whiteline 02+ Impreza and 04 STi steering rack bushings -
Replace the wimpy rubber stock ones with these stiffer urethane ones and eliminate your memory steer problem. Pricing is $28. Here's the direct link:
http://turninconcepts.com/product_info.php?products_id=47

Whiteline 05 STi steering rack bushings -
Tighten up steering response on your 05, and make your car happy. Price is $42. Here's the direct link:
http://turninconcepts.com/product_info.php?products_id=59

Whiteline STi alloy rear endlinks (KLC32) -
If you have upgraded your STi's rear sway bar then you NEED to upgrade the rear endlinks. Snapped stock endlinks are not pretty. Especially if you have an 05 since when the stock ones go they'll take chunks out of your nice aluminum lateral links. These puppies have a gold anodized aluminum body with stiff urethane bushings in the ends. Unlike spherical bearing links these are nice and quiet. Price is $102. Here's the direct link:
http://turninconcepts.com/product_info.php?products_id=55

Whiteline bars -
We have a variety of Whiteline front and rear sway bars in stock. Check them out at http://www.turninconcepts.com

As always shipping in the US is free on all orders. If you are outside the US please contact us to work out shipping details.

Hi,
I am interested in the big 27mm adjustable sway bar but I must be sure that it fits an 05 STI.
I have read somewhere that changes in the design of the bar had to be made to fit properly an 05 STI over an 04 STI version.
Let me know.
Thanks in advance.

Yes it will. The 04 version was the X3003 (xsf33xxz). The 05 version is X3006 (xsf36xxz).

Ironically the X3006 also fits the 04 very nicely, but, as you have noted, this does not work the other way around.

05 STi here, what is the difference between the KLC-32 and the KLC-047 heavy duty spherical bearing swaybar link kit other than price ;)

05 STi here, what is the difference between the KLC-32 and the KLC-047 heavy duty spherical bearing swaybar link kit other than price ;)
The KLC-32 use urethane bushings in the ends. They do have some initial give to them, but once you have reached the limit of the give they may as well be solid. The others are using spherical bearings instead of urethane bushings so there is no initial give with them.

What this means to you - for a car that is daily driven with occasional track or autocross use the KLC-32 are nice because they are quiet. The others will produce noise. On a dedicated track car where noise is way down on the list of concerns the sperical ends would be fine.

FWIW, We tried our hand at making TiC branded spherical ones and they were just too noisey for our taste. We have talked to other major endlink manufacturer and they came to the same conclusion. In the end, it's a matter of personal taste.

We just got a box in yesterday so I have a couple of things to add.

We have 1 (one) BSR37XZ bar in stock. This is a rear bar for the STi, is adjustable, and is 24mm on the softest setting. This is one beefy bar, and you really want stiffer than stock springs if you are going to run a rear bar this big. Price is set at $165, and shipping is free in the US.

We also have 5 (five) sets of the KSR205 in stock. These are the new steering rack bushings by whiteline for the 05+ STi. They are a nice stiff urethane. Price is set at $42, and again, shipping is free in the US.

Additionally, we still a number of the new TiC fender cowl braces in stock. Price is $95, and guess what on the shipping!!! It's a million dollars to ship!! (Just kidding, shipping on these is free in the US.)

Here's a question. I wanted to leave positive feedback about buying those Whiteline Quick Releases from y'all but we never discussed them in a thread. Would discussing them here be enough for me to leave feedback? I am REALLY happy that I got the quick release kit for the rear strut bar in my wagon and with the fast delivery I got from TiC.... :)

Just point it to this thread. That'll work just fine. BTW, I don't think really fast shipping counts when you're local.

Well, considering that you guys put forth rather more effort than was strictly necessary to get them to my place, I think it bodes well for your other customers. :D I think Adam stole my army man though... :p

What are the dimensions on the braces? I have a 06 FXT and could then tell you if they fit or not.
