Has any one installed the jdm headlight from the sti? If so is there any mods that need to be made? and is it halogen bulb?
I hope to use these lights, i just want to research the results.

well, to answer your question,
Imprezer has done this conversion and it requires wiring modification.
It is HID for the low beam and regular halogen for the high beam.
Over $2000 headlight system it is.

You could look into the UK300 WRC-like like headlight conversion, wiring likely needs to be done here too. For Halagon it's like ~$800. For HID thought it's twice that.

Unless you really like the WRC look, for ~$1700 I'd spring for the extra few hundred to get the JDM HID's.

FWIW Even the STi can come with the same headlights our car does. HID is a ~$2000 option on all JDM imprezas AFAIK.
