although this has been covered more than a few times, i thought i'd take some time and find a great link for you:

"buttons" (http://www.i-club.com/forums/search.php?s=)

check it out. there's good stuff in there!

i thought those "buttons" were dummy panels that could be used for somethin such as hella driving lights or whatnot. Im putting big ass hellas on the front of my rex, and am going to wire it so a switch will be put into one of those panels, jperhaps the one next to the stock fog light switch

I wish the covers that they put on these button holes were coin holders.

There are two things I miss about my ole Stang, the coin holders and the trunk button on the remote. I'm crying all the way to 60...

I think that little cubby under the left side of the dash makes a pretty good coin holder.

In Canada the heated mirrors come on with the rear defrost.

The two on the dash are for the intercooler water spray (one manual, and the other to set it to automatic)

The one on the center console mid way is for the STI's optional adjustable centre differential.

The two further back on the centre console are for the heated seats which work great for the days when the heaters in our Canadian igloos aren't working... we can just sleep in our cars... if the dog sled can get us there.

And speaking of heated seats.. anyone in Canada wanna see if they can get the whole kit from a dealer for me? :)

I asked the dealer here and he found the heater elements in the computer but none of the wiring and stuff.

Do all Canadian WRX's have heated seats? Or is it an option?

I may be anal.. but i liked the idea of having the subaru parts in there instead of some aftermarket deal. Although I guess at least the switches are from Nissan

I'll ask my dealer.

Do you know if you guys even have the connectors on the harness? You're right the switches are Nissan!

The Canadian WRX actually has NO options (factory options that is). All Canadian WRX's have the heated seats, heated mirrors, and the spoiler.

Pop off the rearward section of you centre console. Its just two clips in the front, and two stiffer pegs in the back.

My harness is part of the same branch that has the power mirror connector on it. They are 4 pin I think, one was balck the other green.

Ok so according to this (http://i-club.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=89601) thread.. Canadian dealerships do have the full kit to sell.

Here's a pic of what I found in my car.. detail is not so great.. but it was the best I could do at 11:00 at night.

I apologize if the image takes forever.. that server has been rather slow lately.

Anyway.. send me an email: lenyx@ma.ultranet.com if you think you can help me out. :)
