I just got my Subaru steering column mounted boost gauge put in today...
For some reason it seems to be too far over to the left and blocking the lower numbers [1000 rpms] of the tach..
Can anyone with this tell me if they have the same problem or did I just install the darn thing too far over??:(

Yeah I know what your saying but I think its supposed to be between the number [1 -9] on the bottom of the tach or it should be over the redline numbers...
Its just that in every pic I see, it looks different from every angle, so I'm tryin to get an opinion of someone who actually has it installed...

I moved mine to the left side. So now it blocks the lower half of the temp gauge.

I did my own boost guage install with an autometer guage I bought. You determine where you mount it, so whoever installed it must have put it there. Mine is mounted right on the upper right corner of the steering column, so it blocks the lower right part of the tach.
For me when I look at it, it sits between 1 and 9, but if I close my left eye you can only see 9 and if I close my right eye you can only see 1, but with both eyes open it sits exactly between 1 and 9. I spent half and hour taping the template to the column and making sure it was exactly as it should be. But you should be able to move it over without the old holes being exposed.
Good luck.

Like Avey, I measured mine pretty carefully before drilling, and it sits between the 1 and the 9. Maybe you're sitting too far to the right? :)
