Every Highly Modified car we Have purchased from Japan Had Fender Braces! Almost everycar with CoilOvers had fender braces! So I ask my friend that is involved with both Indycar and Vintage race cars whats up?

Then I spoke to a friend in Japan and they both had the same answer!

With coil overs or a strut bar the forces alway look for the next weakest point! On a Subaru the waekest point is the upper rail! it is pretty thin Box Rail. On a hard turn in it wants to fold over! The weak stamped factory does not hold up to the forces!

So I asked my friend to fabricate some to test, and after 4 different sets this style has been by far the best!

These a professionally welded, Braced and Powder Coated!

We have installed on GC8 and GDB and have found a noticable difference in both!

It bolts up behind the front fenders, stiffens up the front unibody for better turn in response.

I does the same thing! But it is even stiffer! than subarus These are very popular in Japan, a company known for making the best, these are very close! To Jspeed ones!

We can take off the interwell liner and with a 1/4 inch drive ratchet an swap them out we have done it 3 or 4 times for ourselfs and customers!

I just installed mine today....good overall quality, and the install is a LOT easier than ya think ;)

I have a good many tools, including straight and offset GearWrenches and a GearRachet('shorter' than a standard 3/8" drive rachet and socket ;) )....which I used to install the JDM Importers cowl stays.
The whole install took me ~90 minutes in all, and I'm happy to report no :eek:'s or :huh:'s.

You remove the fender liner attach hardware and pull it down, out of the way... and the top of the fender does need to be unbolted and pulled back a bit---just loosen the most foreword bolt above the headlight and the rear bolt inside the door jam and remove the other 2 on top of the fender) to remove/re-install the upper foreword brace bolt....no biggie...the fender pops right back into place. Tighten all the stay bolts, in steps, to final torque...and replace all the other stuff and done. The fender bolts do NOT need much torque......no gorilla action ;)

The results are subtle but :banana:....the front end 'points' much better and on my favorite hi-speed 270° offramp I almost turned in too much :eek: because the front end responded faster than I expected and the car 'held the line' SO MUCH better all the way around:D I had to go around and do it again---faster :devil:

Conclusion: Would I buy these again....??? NO DOUBT. :D

im with scotty and his feeling on their performance even with 65 profile winter tires i felt a big difference in turn in, and how the car held the line. front end is stiffer, and alot more responsive.

i took off the fenders to install them.

i put them on no problem. i already had mine off(was gonna beuild my own). but i can tell a differene. i jsut added some JIC coilovers too. and it seemd to calm things down a great deal. definitly can turn in faster. car feels more solid. :banana:
