I was looking behind the UK300 headlights , and noticed that the rim around the projectors are not sealed against the black plastic housing, which means potentially water can get in behind the headlights. Has anyone running these headlights ran into any problems with water getting behind the lights during a rainy day, or a car wash? I'll be making a road trip in the near future to rainier/colder climate and don't want to run into potential problems. I'm running HIDs in these headlights, and just want to be cautious.
Here's a pic to be more clear. I'm referring to the space between the projectors and black plastic housing.

Not a cause for concern, Morettes are the same. I've had the Morettes on my car for over 3 years through several Northeast winters and numerous rainstorms, and haven't had any problems. I have HIDs as well.

Good to know. Thanks guys. Btw, the light output on these headlights w/ an HID kit in them blows away the EDM STI's w/ an HID kit that I had before.

My car is in both pictures. :) I did eventually swap out my EDM bulbs to 4100k, and while it was a great improvement over the 6000k bulbs, the foreground lighting was nowhere near as good as it is with these UK300's I have now. w00t! That big dark spot beneath the cutoff really stands out when compared the cutoff from another headlamp.

Where did you get that 4100k kit? Does your highbeam stay on with low beam on? I want to get D2S kit, but don't know how to wire to make it work. Please help!

Wow that looks great. I have been considering add HID to my UK300s. I think I just found my next mod.

Here's a pic of my UK300s with 4300K Philips Bulbs and Ballasts (cutoff/glare shields have been modded to reduce glare):
