This has been bothering me for a few months. The last time I went into the Subaru dealership, I asked them if CAI would void my warranty. The guy I talked to said it probably would but he wasn't sure. I would really like to find out, if anyone has information about this I would appreciate it.

Installing the part itself does not void your warranty, but I HIGHLY recommend you make sure that it does not go down the fender of the car and point towards the ground....the last guy that did that hit a small puddle (according to him) and ended up buying a $9000 engine!
Also, read one of the stickies at the top of this forum....."Your warranty cannot be voided". You will get a lot of answers there...

If the CAI doesn't allow the MAF to meter the air properly and you run the car real lean and cook a piston, then yes, you'll likely have to pay for the repairs. If you have a wheel bearing problem, then no, you shouldn't have to pay for that repair due to the CAI.

We should have a thread that has stuff like this that people have to take a test on or something before they can make their first post. I mean, i swear stuff like this is asked nearly daily, not to bash on you its definatly not your fault. its just something that would be nice. :D

If you reset your ecu after you install it you should have a running lean issue
