Will a 45mm Omori boost gauge fit into the stock pod mounted on the steering column? I'd like to switch to one with english units, backlit in green, not white...

Mulder 12-14-2005, 09:27 PM Yes it can be done, many people have replaced the factory Lamco gauge with an Omori. It is a tight fit as said but it will go in. mywrx1 12-15-2005, 03:34 AM It will fit just spray some silicon or wd40 on the outside of the gauge before you push it in. 1-3-2-4 12-15-2005, 08:39 AM Excellent, thanks for the info. I either didn't search correctly or there are too many threads, because I had a hard time finding this. I found an Omori boost gauge for $90....I think I'll get it. :) taylor04 12-15-2005, 10:37 AM J-Spec Tuning has a writeup on their website for that exact situation. Good guys to get your gauge from too! J-Spec Tuning 12-17-2005, 07:13 PM A little late but here is the link to our installation page. We hope to be putting more up soon. The write-up to put the 45mm into the OEM Subaru pod was written by CirrusWRX (thanks again). http://www.j-spectuning.com/installations.php Thanks, Thaison 1-3-2-4 12-18-2005, 12:36 AM Awesome, thanks for the link! |
