I want to praise one of the quieter vendors (yeah right, his sube hits close to 150 db! :D I recently purchased supersube's 10" trunk subwoofer enclosure (see the website for pics), and it was a great experience. Kevin (supersube), was very congenial, and a pleasure to do business with, from start to finish. One of those vendors you actually become friends with in the process. He was very helpful and honest in answering my questions while I decided what was best for me.
As far as the product is concerned, I am VERY impressed (hence this post) with the quality of the enclosure, which I've had for 4 weeks. My car/audio friends comment on how factory-quality the enclosure is when you open the trunk, because it doesn't look out of place at all. And best of all, 90% of my trunk space is still available, and also I don't have to worry about my subwoofers slamming around in my trunk when I'm cornering, cause the enclosure bolts into the side of the trunk.
This enclosure is great for those who aren't satisfied with the little under-seat sub, yet don't want to lose most of their trunk space with a sub-box. I used to have two 12" Sony Xplod subs taking up 80% of my trunk, before I switched to Kevin's trunk enclosure, and put one 10" JL W6 subwoofer in it, and the bass is as good, IF NOT BETTER than the two 12's were, plus I still have 90% of my trunk space!
Two thumbs up, Kevin!
