Workmanship: Perfect; Beautiful. It is a hollow piece, but you mechanical engineers who still remember the static loading formula can confirm this - for hollow piece of rod, it can withstand torsion better (?) The Welding and finish is perfect. Packaging, as any Japanese product - very nice. Thick plastic bag & cardboard boxes on the outside. Comes with 4-5 pictures, nicely packed, showing how the install should go. Nice.

Fitment: Perfect. It can go on Wagon as well. There are 4 bolts needed to be loosen up. the bigger 2 bolts (19mm) took >215ft-lb to be loosen up. I think it is because there is Locktite on the bolts originally. Shouldn't have to re-torque them down at that rate. I only torqued them back down to 140ft-lb. The smaller 2 bolts (I think they are 17 or 16mm) only took 35ft-lb to loosen. Make sure you tighten the 4 bolts in a "star" sequence. I installed it with the car on the ramp. 30min job.

Driving: Definitely a noticeable difference going over speed bumps. The car feels more solid during turning in. The product doesn't affect oversteer/understeer of the car. Provide 10-15% better communication with the road during turns. I only have stock suspension beside the rear bar & rear end link.

Price: $160 shipped.

Did you notice that in the instruction it says that you have to make modification (make a cut) to the transmission cover? And ... we don't have any transmission covers! It kinda suck that Subaru has to cut corners here and there.

But yes, its nice. I don't know how nice since I put on a rear strut bar too when I put this on so I don't know the improvement is from what.

Yeah, I did notice couple of our under-car covers are missing comparing to the Jap. Spec. WRX from looking at Cusco's instruction pictures. SOA's pretty weak. It is sick to when you think about SOA has actually put together a team of people to decide what needs to be eliminated to cut corner. They can spend the budget for this team and apply that to the car for more value-add components for the consumers.

The Lower Arm Bar is approx. the same price as the strut bar, even though I don't have the front strut tower bar, but I am willing to bet that it has a more noticeable improvement over the strut tower bar. Can anyone confirm?
