Just had the full 3m kit installed on the front of my WRX the other day. Man it covers everything. The only place you can see it is on the hood.

Malcolms Tinting on the westend (edmonton) did it for me. Awesome job and awesome price.

Hes the one that did my tinting as well.....I highly recommend him

I did the same to my car, the stuff is awesome. No more rocks chips. I had the entire front of mine done as well, but it costed a bit----After tax it was like $480. But they did cover every part of the front end. If anyone else lives where theres rocks on the road most of the year, I highly recommend this stuff.

I had my tint done at Malcom's to. Was thinking about the 3M on the front but if I already have rock chips on the front of my car will they stand out more?

I had the entire front end done......bumper, grill headights and foglights etc. Every little inch of the front is covered. Also the front of the mirrors and the hood is done up about 12 or so inchs. Its a laser cut kit so it even covers the little flares on the lower part of the bumper. Very nice kit.

As for cost he gave me a smoken deal to have one done and show it off. I'll tell you I didnt pay anywhere near $480 for it. If you go see him tell him Lance with the blue 2006 sent you and he'll hook you up with a good price.

I thought $480.00 was alot to pay for it, but I live in northern BC. (everything costs more here) Theres more rocks on the highway than most of the gravel roads, lol. And after paying $300.00 deductable every time to get the rocks chips out, It had to be done. Guess I shoulda waited til I did an edmonton trip........

Hes on the westend......I know he is on 181st but I cant remember the avenue. I think its like 107ave. Its called Malcolms Tinting

The kit comes all precut so it only takes them a couple hours to put it on.

ya i agree with the 3M rock guard i got it on MY05 RS and I really like it the only crappy part was on my way down to edmonton for a car show with some friends I got a rock chip about 1 cm above the rock guard that kinda pissed me off. I would say to get it on your car if you live where there are lots of rocks.

I got mine done at Garage Works. The bumper portion was ordered precut for like $360ish. I also had them order a custom piece to cover my entire hood.

I drove up from Calgary to get my car done at Malcoms Tinting.

Let me say, it was well worth it. I had the tint intstalled and 3M clear protection on my Legacy GT. The 3M stuff went on the entire front bumper, 18 inches on the hood, strip on the hood scoop, front of the fenders, mirrors, A-pillars, 6 inches on the roofline, rear rockers and a strip on the top of the rear bumper.

I also had the limo tint put on the back 5 windows.

Let me say that these guys know their stuff. They stayed late for me on Saturday, got me beer and coffee (from Timmys) while I was waiting and explained the whole process. I also got warranty for the tint and the 3M and they assured me that if there is anything that I'm not happy about, to let them know and they will fix it. My car is white and I have to look really hard to even see the seem on the hood. Great job! The entire job (3M and tint) took just under 3 hours and I got a great price!

Seriously guys, anyone that I went to in Calgary didn't offer that kind of service.

I was told that if anyone from Calgary wants to drive up to Edmonton to get stuff done, they will open up for you late on Saturday or even on a Sunday!

If there is like 4 or 5 guys wanting stuff to get done, they will pre-book the time for you so that you are in and out in no time.

+1 for Malcolm's. They gave me a great deal on my tint. Also i asked for a strip of the 3m for a 12" strip on the front of the hood and they gave me 18" at a lower price! Best tint/3m shop in edmonton IMHO

Malcolm > all when it comes to tinting and the like. If he has it in his repertoire, then he is the man you want to talk to.
