The wiring in my car is a mess. It's using the jdm harness for everything. The windows don't work with the harness, so I'm trying to figure out if it would be possible to just wire it myself. I don't care about the auto function or be able to roll down the passenger window from the driver's side. I just want each switch to work on it's appropriate window (it's a coupe btw).
There are two wires coming out of each motor. Can I just run them to a switch and a power source? Where is the relay located? I have the wiring diagrams, but it's hard to follow since it's for a US harness. All suggestions welcome.

more information is needed... what year is your car what year is the swap.... if you have the jdm diagram it'd be helpful

The car is a '98 the swap and wiring is v5. I think it's using the jdm window control for the driver side, but not the passanger side. That's why I'm saying that all of that stuff is a mess and I'm trying to figure out how to wire it up without using the harness.

Still trying to figure this out. I went to the junkyard and couldn't find any crank setups or power windows for a coupe. Any suggestions?

i put a late 97/early 98 into a 2001 and most of the wires for the windows were the same color, like 2 that werent the same. i did it with a voltimeter to check continuity, no wiring diagrams. this should be the case for yours, but either way, its kinda easy, especially w/ a diagram.

Yeah, but I don't have the jdm wiring diagram. Plus I'm bad at reading these things anyway. I'm just trying to figure out where I would need to run my own wires out of each switch. Just to the motor and a power source? What does the relay look like?
