Ok, I bought my 98 legacy GT limited from them in 2000, it had 30,000 miles on it with a full package of everything. I got it for about $16,500 (not too bad) Then when I first had to work on it I notices the a-arms in the front were painted different like one was new or something, now that I have close to 50,000 mils on it the head gaskets are gone and the heads melted. I took it to them over a week ago and they took it all a part and thought it was just the gaskets, today they call me up to tell me I need new heads. They finally got it back in the shop and might have it done for two weeks after they supposely started. So, if you live in CT and you need your subaru worked on I would say not to take it there but then again there is very few places around here that know how to work on a subaru.

As for sales at Suburban, they've slipped alot in the past few years, it's a competitive shop chop full o' testosterone, lacking in good old fashioned courtesy, I will never buy a car from them again.
AS FOR SERVICE, the guys at Suburban Subaru Service Dept. are top notch, Bob and Todd have helped me out countless times, helping my out by dropping inspection costs ($65 - $100) and when I thought something was wrong with my car they'd take it around the block for free to tell me what was up. They spotted everything wrong with my car after I bought it from Steve Lewis Subaru (AKA THE WORST SUBARU DEALERSHIP IN THE WORLD, just ask SubaTubaru) CAlled the dealership to tell them off and made them fix my car!

Sure they're expensive, but... what do you expect, it's an actual Subaru dealer, so it's going to be expensive.

They are very helpful there and have done a lot of work on the car to bring it back from me seeing just how fast I can get it to go and how many v6's I can make cry. Things got a lot better today when I asked for a loaner since its taking so long. They gave me a 2002 RS for free for the week.
Thankyou Bry for the reply

You could check out Quality Subaru in Wallingford. Paul is the service manager down there and he is a great guy. Thats my opinion.

Quality has every fourth oil change free and always sends out coupons... not to mention the eye candy GM
