i read the thread for oil temp and i saw the adapter i can use for the oil galley...... i bought a similar reducer for mine so i can put my defi oil pressure gauge in, but my galley is leaking...... i used teflon tape and im scared of overtightening the plug.... is this a stupid fix of just tightening the plug or should i use more teflon tape...... it was just a plug, no o-ring or anything.... help me out please.

It's probably too loose, but do yourself a favor and get rid of the teflon tape. That stuff can break into little bits and get into your oil system, and possibly block off oil passages. Use pipe sealant instead.

It can if applied incorrectly, but as long as you keep it away from the end it is usually fine.

I found Ultra Blue silicone gasket maker to work well. Just be sure to only apply it to 2-3 threads, starting a couple of threads in from the tip.

I sealed mine up with Hylomar, essentially the same stuff as the Ultra Blue silicone that is mentioned by Armand1. I also gave it a copper crush washer [the same kind/size as on your oil pan drain plug] as I had several sitting around with nothing better to do.
