This shortblock from my 2002 WRX was removed at 43000 miles in perfect running condition (the compression test numbers are from the day it was removed). It was removed for a version 8 EJ207 (JDM STI) shortblock swap and turbo upgrade, etc. It has been sitting on the engine stand in my garage with a garbage bag sealed around it for 4 months now.
This is a LOCAL SALE ONLY in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. You are, of course, welcome to examine the shortblock as carefully as you'd like before purchasing. I am a stand-up guy. If I can't get my asking price for it, I am keeping it. It is worth more.
The price is $400, firm, picked up.
It will fit easily in any trunk and weighs roughly 110lbs.
