i got a 06 TR and i did the fog light mod.. its usually on when i turn the knob one time to the parking position.. earlier tonite i accidently hit the high beams.. as that was happening, the fogs turned off.. when i turned the high beams off, the fogs didnt turn back on.. it would only turn on when i turn on the headlight normal but when i put the switch in the parking position, the illumination on the gauges wont go on and also the parking+fogs as how it was before i hit the highs...also when the headlight is on w/fogs, i high beam and all the illumination goes off too  can anyone please help me out

BTW this is what i did from scoobymods
On the WRX, to use your driving/fog lights, your headlights have to be on and on low beam. This mod allows you to turn them on as long as you parking lights are on, regardless of what your headlights are doing.

Instructions:

1) Remove the under dash below the steering wheel - 3 screws: 1 on the left side (where the door closes), 1 on the lower left front, and 1 on the lower right front.

2) Remove the fuse box from its metal frame - Remove the 1 screw on the top and press in on the metal tabs (one on each side in the middle). Also remove the black relay boxes on the right side by pressing in the tabs.

3) Splice a 6" piece of wire into the orange wire on the back of the fuse box.

4) Locate the red w/ green stripe wire on the 4th relay down from the top.

5) Cut this wire and tape the end coming from the dash.

6) Connect the piece of wire you spliced to the orange wire with this new end and tape it up.

7) Test everything before putting it back together

when i did my fog mod on my gc8, the fogs were always on. if i wanted them on with the parking lamps only though, i had to dim the illumination or else the relay would go crazy. i found i wired the wrong wire. it was about 80% right. check your wires.
