Turn in Concepts 01-16-2006, 10:23 AM WooHoo! First thread in here!!
Just to fill everyone in here's a few things that we have to offer.
First off is our new two week bundle. The REXnEFFECTS (hey we didn't name it) bundle gets you the Kartboy 5mt shifter bushing combo + the TiC Klunk Killer for the great price of $123. If you don't know what all that entails here's a list:
Kartboy 5mt front shifter stay bushing
Kartboy rear shifter stay bushing
Kartboy rear subframe outrigger bushings
TiC rear diff mount bushings
This is a great price for a great bundle, but because it's a two week bundle it won't last long.
We have a few of the WRX/RS Better Backend Bundles in stock. This gets you the Whiteline 22mm adjustable rear swaybar, the Kartboy WRX/RS rear endlinks, and the TiC rear diff mount bushings. Price is $250.
We have a number of the TiC fender cowl braces in stock. These are WAY stiffer, and a little lighter than the stock braces. Price is $95.
We have the 04-05 STi Super shifter set. This gets you the Kartboy 6mt lever, the Kartboy 6mt front shifter stay bushing, the Kartboy rear shifter stay bushing, and the TiC shift linkage bushings. Price is $230.
We have the 04-05 STi Bodacious Bushing Bundle. This kit is for the 6mt folks who already have a new 6mt lever or just feel like using their stock one. It gets you the Kartboy 6mt front shifter stay bushing, the Kartboy rear shifter stay bushing, and the TiC shift linkage bushings. Price is $90.
We have the Klunk Killer in stock. This gets you the Kartboy rear subframe outrigger bushings and the TiC rear diff mount bushings. Price is $70.
We have a bunch of the Kartboy 5mt front shifter stay bushings in stock. Price is $30.
We have the Kartboy rear shifter stay bushing in stock. Price is $35.
We have the Kartboy subframe outrigger bushings by themselves in stock. Price is $32.
And if you already have outrigger bushings then we can hook you up with just the TiC rear diff mount bushings for $40.
We also have the new Kartboy tranny crossmember bushings in stock. Price is $30.
As always shipping in the US is free.
Foo_Blyat 01-16-2006, 03:35 PM This is an awesome deal, i already have all my TiC/Kartboy stuff and its the best line of products out.
ujduche 01-16-2006, 05:06 PM Maybe post some pictures of the fender cowl braces since these are a relatively new item in the catalog and folks may not know what they do/where they go.
I would say bump, but this is the only thread in this section.

Here's where they go:

Here's why you want them - the stock ones are stupidly flimsy

LOLSTi 01-16-2006, 11:00 PM about how long is the fender cowl install?

The first time I ever did it was about 2 hours from jack up to put down.
I think Tony has gotten it down to just over an hour, and without even removing the wheels.

sweet.
i think i'll be placing an order sometime mid february for the shifter package and possible the cowl braces.
Turn in Concepts 01-16-2006, 11:45 PM That's fine, but if we get low on the braces I'll give you a heads up. I expect they'll start selling more quickly once a very influential person completes her review of her test set.
gpatmac 01-17-2006, 12:00 AM I'm guessing I already know the answer, but do y'all have an awd dyno? I got kinda excited when I saw that you were in Cincy.

no worries, they aren't a "must have" item for me.
and no gpatmac, no dyno. :( yet...

PAT!
You've been spotted!
I'll let you know how TiC is...gonna order some stuff from them soon!
Maybe you and your crazy modded wagon will make them enough money to get a dyno!!!

I wish they did...but there's word now(see Cincy "teh thread) about Performance Alignment opening up a new location later this year, with plans for an AWD dyno and moving into engine tuning. So you'll probably have an option soon...just not sure if the AWD dyno is being planned on launching with the new location or at a later date? Maybe another local can find out for us.
Ok...back to TiC's thread. I'm gonna try and avoid buying anymore stuff for a few months...but it's hard.

LOLSTi 01-20-2006, 06:08 PM You know we can get you a nice beefy front bar....
so, you post on your personal screen name in the TiC thread and your vendor account in the Cincinnati thread...
Don't worry, this post isn't totally void of purpose.
PM me about pricing on teh yuro 6spd shifter stuffs.
Any chance you will be carrying Schroth products in the near future?

That was just the account I was logged into at the time.
Which size sways are you looking for?
No go on the schroth stuff, but we can get you sparco harnesses. I know you were looking at the harness bar and these would go nicely. Let me know if you're interested in that setup.
LOLSTi 01-20-2006, 10:40 PM Link me to some sparco stuffs. Package deal for teh harnasses and bar?
Turn in Concepts 01-20-2006, 10:50 PM Link me to some sparco stuffs. Package deal for teh harnasses and bar?
I'll see what I can work out for a package....
Check out the harnesses and bars from Speedwaremotorsports.com as they would be our supplier on these.
LOLSTi 01-20-2006, 11:06 PM radical.
I'm still hoping to end up with:
a helmet
sways
pads
fluid
lines
and the harness (and bar)
before autox season. :o (although i may do the sways last, as i would like to get used to teh STis handling characteristics (as the FLSD still throws me for a loop once in a while, it aint no bugeye) before messing with them.)
Oh, and i saw the harnass bar thread on iwsti, is the sparco really more invasive of the back seat space than the gforce (or whatever the competition is)?
edit: you know schroth makes at least *some* of Sparco's stuff, right?
Foo_Blyat 01-22-2006, 11:17 PM Do you have a pic of how the rear shifter bushing is supposed to look? Not sure if i put mine in the right way.
Flat surface towards the wall, and think towards bottom with slanted towards top?

Did you check the KB instructions on scoobymods?
Turn in Concepts 01-22-2006, 11:46 PM take a look at the hole that the stay goes into. The thicker portion is the bottom, and the thinner portion is the top.
if you install it upside down it will sit at a funny angle, and actually rub against the driveshaft.
rush05WRX 01-23-2006, 12:55 PM How long does it take to install the rear diff bushings?
Turn in Concepts 01-23-2006, 01:15 PM How long does it take to install the rear diff bushings?
For the kartboy outrigger bushings ~20-30 minutes.
For the TiC rear diff mount bushings it took me about 1.5 hours the first time, but now for an easy install takes about 45 minutes.
stidailydriver 01-24-2006, 04:09 PM pmed you :D

F22-Raptor 01-25-2006, 10:28 AM Could ya PM me a price for front and rear pads/braided SS lines and fluid? Thanks..
Turn in Concepts 01-25-2006, 10:55 AM Could ya PM me a price for front and rear pads/braided SS lines and fluid? Thanks..
No lines yet. Still waiting to work out the details on the TiC lines for the Spyder and Impreza before we look at LegGT.
Let me research the pads - are you looking for anything specific on them?
We have Motul RBF600 in stock, but if you think that may be overkill then your look at ATE Superblue. Spradlin's is your best bet for that as the price is good, and they always have it in stock.
I'll PM this to you too to make sure you see it.
rush05WRX 01-25-2006, 10:01 PM Any news on the shift knobs?

^^^^Looks strangely familiar to someone's logo..... ;) ^^^^^
Do you have any whiteline bushing for a 22mm front sway? Shot me a PM if you are able to buy them and for how much. I have the bar but no blasted bushings. Also, are you out of your shortshifter and bushings kit?

Nah - nothing like that logo. They're completely different barnyard animals. :)
I'm assuming you need the bushings for an 04 WRX. I don't have any in stock, but I can check with the distributor on Monday to see if they have any.
My fault on the lever/bushing combo. I have the parts. Let me update the site now.
milo607 02-04-2006, 10:31 PM Nope.
You realize there is a growing population of angy, frustrated, lonely people who are seeking this angry cow shift knob to relieve their inner turmoil!!
Will you help us?? :D
Turn in Concepts 02-04-2006, 11:37 PM Muffin,
Go to Tom's site. Order the knob. When we have the domed stickers set up I will give you one so you can slap it on your knob.
