How is it that nissan can design a great look infiniti models, but they fail miserably with nissan. Look at the new sentra, it i s a piece of crap and deserves to be thrown off the face of the earth.

What nissan needs is to rebadge Renaults clio and send it state side..

Any new rumors on the Skyline coming to U.S.??? Last I read some Nissan rep or CEO or someone high up had said that it is definitely going to happen. The question is just when??? 07? later? Let's just hope it won't loose a lot on the crossing into the U.S.

I want Nissan go get back into the affordable sport compact market. I miss the old SE-R days.
Rumors are out that a new, smaller car will be here soon. (Azeil or something like that)

The new SE-R will be based off the upcoming Tiida, which is a rebadges Clio. For a good idea take a look at the new Clio Sport V6.

The GT-R (There wont be a "Skyline" in the us because the G35 IS the SKyline) will be out by Sept of 07, maybe even 6 months earlier if things stay ahead of schedule like they are now. It will be an Infiniti.

AFAIK, there will be no Clio Sport V6 based on the new Clio III. The old Clio Sport V6 is actually a completely different car than the mass-produced Clio. It's a 2 seater, mid-engined, RWD and relatively expensive (~$45k, on par with Evo and STI in Europe).
For a better idea of the Tiida/Versa SE-R (or whatever Nissan will call it) look at the Nissan Sport Concept or better yet the Clio Renaultsport Concept.

It's powered by a 2.0L 16V that used to make 182 hp on the old Clio Renault Sport. Expect output closer to 200 hp for the Clio III Renaultsport.

The new smaller sports car will be base on the Tiida/Versa hatch or maybe the Urge concept that was just shown.

The Azeal look nice, the new Senta is just ugly. The headlight, front fender and hoodline are nearly the same, but the four door goes downhill in the looks dept.
It will be intersting to see what kind of motors they will put in a smaller car.

The 07 sentra pic has the same ugly slanted windshield as the new civics we have at work. This makes the dash wayyy too long. IMO smaller cars like this shouldnt have dashes that stick out 10 ft. Just my .02 though. As for the Skyline/G35, let's hope for some sort of good powertrain config. We need an alternative to MotoRex's $80,000 pricetag to get your own R34 GTR.

MotorEx doesn't sell Skylines anymore. Actually, no one sells legal Skylines anymore unless they were previously legally imported. You can get them in Canada though!
