Hello everybody. I have an 04 WRX. I was wondering if anyone has done this mod before.... I want to put in a switch to allow me to have my fog lights on while my parking lights are on. Just wanted to see if anyone has done it before I start tinkering. Thanks!

Don't want to say it but I will, do a search. Not for what you want exactly though. Search for "fog lights without head light" or "fog lights and high beam" (think there is a thread on the first or second page right now).

By figuring out how they get it to work with the high beam you will probably be able to figure out which wire to change/cross to get it to work with just your parking lights. But, why not just make the Fogs an independant switch? Meaning you can have them on whenever you want, with or without parking lights. (I believe this is how they get it to work with high beams.)

Yeah, there are several threads on this, and it's also posted up on scoobymods.com.

I'd do the work and give you a link... but you didn't do the work to search first.

Thanks for the help guys. Nothing came up when I did the search for "head light mod".... atleast nothing specific to what I was looking for. I will try searching for the "fog light mod".

i dont know if this'll help but here's my car with it done...with the mod done it does the following functions...

- fogs on by themselves with no OTHER lights on.
- fogs with parking lights
- fogs with parking and head lights
- fogs ON with highbeams.
