06 STI Roof Spoiler


We just received the final revision of the carbon fiber roof spoiler for 06 STI. These two items, cf roof spoiler and cf side cover are ready for production.

You can purchase the mid deck alone or the side cover alone, or complete set. The installation takes 20 min. The stock side cover can be removed by unscrewing one of the plastic screws on the back of the cover. There are four bolts that is holding the mid deck to the base. Removing that four bolts, the roof spoiler will come right out.

The stock roof spoiler are make out of steel. Replacing the carbon mid deck with decrease the weight. The CF mid deck are about 2 lbs.

We also have a one piece kit for 02~05 WRX/STi , 06 WRX which included the base. As of now, only fiber glass available. Drilling to the pillar are required. We will provide a template. We also offer paint option for $75 dollars per wing. Please specify color (side and mid deck).

for 06, you only need center piece. We are coming out with a different version for 02~05 WRX / STI where the side and mid spoiler comes in one piece instead three pieces.

i think I would be down for this. aslong as it is cheaper then the oem one.

The original one is going for $325 shipped for the complete set including the side cover.

We are still working on the one piece version where the CF mid deck are included with the side cover and side base. Pricing should be a bit more than stock.

Keep in mind that stock wing are steel and plastic, the replacement are carbon fiber !!!

Is the install the same as the OEM model?
Can this be installed at a Subaru dealership/body shop?

You might want to look into making some for GC owners or see if these fit the older Imprezas. I know several people who would buy if they were produced.

Real carbon kevlar are yellow in most cases. The color carbon film you see in the market most of them are fake carbon pattern films, those comes in different colors like red, purple, white, silver, .... to make the wing in those pattern are alot cheaper , or even in fake carbon (black) film, it's cheaper.

But then it won't be call carbon fiber roof spoiler, it will be call carbon style roof spolier, which we are not interested in doing !!!

What's the weight difference between the factory diffuser and this carbon fiber one?

The factory diffuser goes for about 300-400 with all mounting hardware(depending on where you go).
My guess is you will probably price it at around 500.00?

To install the center blade on an '06, would I have to unbolt the base from the C-pillar first? Do the CF covers replace the painted stock covers or just slip over?

we didn't make the cheaper one more expensive just to match the expensive one.

The fiber glass version started at $299 each and drop 5% to 10% from quantity. We just make a typo on the 20 piece and 30 pieces pricing, but 20 or less pricing remain the same.

yes we can do that service for you. You can't buy just the side cover from dealer, they sell the whole wing (mid deck plus base together), then the side cover.
