hey guys, i'm about to buy a used accessport in the classifieds pretty soon. so far most of the accessports that are being sold are 04s. would it be ok to buy the 04 accessport and use it on my 05 wrx? i know the 02s won't work with the 04s and i know that some 04s have a problem if they use the 05 maps, just not sure if i can use the 04 ap with my 05. thanks :)

You can ask over at wrxforum.com but I really doubt it'll work. Didn't they add avcs to the 05 model?

Yes, the 04 will work with the 05, but you need to install the latest software off Cobb's site. They had them combined awhile ago, but some 04 owners were having stalling issues with the 05 ECU logic, so they split them apart. It's a simple process, though, if you can follow directions. :)
