I'm protuned with a 20g turbo alchy injection....the works......I'm set for 22psi with alchy....did a right rpm run in 5th while exiting an offramp.....then noticed a cel when I pulled to the light, the engine sputtered a bit then died

But it started right back up with no smoke/weird noises. I pulled over and used my accessport to pull to the cel but it said I had no fault code? I reset the ecu...reloaded the realtime alchy map and the car seems to run fine?

Are there fault codes that the ap can't read?

Does a protune erase the factory overboost code? I'm 99% it never went over 22psi?

Any ideas?..like I said idle seems okay...vacuum seems okay and nothing in the catchcan?

The Protune should NOT supress the P0244 code but they can if they wanted to I think. I've hit boost cut before and never had my car turn off after.

Accessport CANNOT read historical codes. Once you shut the car off, the thrown code becomes a historical code.

Ahhh it was still on when I tried to read it for the first time....I'm assuming a good scantool can real historical codes.........is the list of codes in cobbs manual all the possible codes for an sti?

Did you finally get the 20G all sealed up and properly tuned?? No more firest? (i was there when she up in flames in MD :))

no there are more codes than in the manual. i believe the manual just has the most common.

The overboost code will be throw if you go over the predetermined boost number set by jorge in your protune, do you know what he set that too? I"m assuming stock BCS?

there is a limit to what the factor MAP sensor can read.
from what i recall, highest Absolute Pressure value is 36.98 (36.98 Absolute - 14.7 Barometric = 22.28psi boost) so that may be the value that he used for the boost limits.

i'm set at 22psi..using a gm boost selenoid......she runs great.....the gm bcs is rock solid.....22psi...never higher.....we'll see if she pops up again...

stange thing is tat on a Mustang dyno i did a few pulls @ 24psi, and didn't hit boost cut, but on the way home i did. then i looked at my map & noticed it was set for ~22psi, but it still had me wondering why it didn't do it on the dyno
