Hey guys, I just got my utec installed and have it set on map 1. I have a turboback exhaust and intake. My problem is when i connect to the utec, i can access any feature like dashboard, data logger, etc. However whenever i access the map editor, it just shows a hundred symbols and then it freezes the hyperterminal. Any idea whats going on and how to fix it? Im trying to upload the stage 2 base map and stage 1-2 parameters.

Sounds like your connection settings aren't quite right in HyperTerminal... what do you have them set to?

what is on the instructions. Its just weird, i mean how can all the other functions work but not the map editor?

That is odd. If your hyperterminal settings are wrong it shouldn't work at all.

You could try reflashing the firmware, or else I'd try to talk to TXS and see what they have to say.

What does it say at the bottom of the HyperTerminal window... next to where it says "Connected" or "Disconnected" at the bottom left?

You could try reflashing the firmwareDefinitely a possibility.

Sounds like the maps have been corrupt. Reflash the UTEC with the latest firmware and start again.
