View Full Version : FS: DNP Resonated Catback Exhaust (VA Cop Friendly!)

AcquaCow

I have a full 3in DNP stainless, resonated catback for wrx/sti.
It has a few miles on it (about 20k), but is in great shape.

I'll re-bling the axleback up with some metal polish free of charge so it looks brand new (just ask mav1c about my skills in this area).

--- UPDATE! ---
All clean! :disco: (see, I wasn't lying about blinging it up!)

Pics of the actual exhaust on my deck right now:

--- END UPDATE ---

The DNP setup goes for $599 new, again, make an offer.
I'll take $300 or so...

How much for FMIC?

AcquaCow
02-14-2006, 01:43 PM
As is, I have the FMIC, tubing and BOV ready to go.

I have the radiator spill-over bottle as well, but it's currently on the car as I don't have anything to swap it with.

I would gladly swap if someone could arrange a time/place to do the swap.

I also have the TXS intake on the car which I could swap out for another if someone had something to trade.

Alternatively I could just sell this cheap-er and let you get new parts from TXS with the spare $$ you'd be saving.

ie: the kit sells for $1199 new, the Intake is $169, so immediately deduct $169 from the cost + shipping, so $180 there (shipping from MD is cheap on something that light...) I don't know the price on the overflow bottle, or rubber hose they give you for the fuel line re-routing, but rubber hose is dirt cheap at Advance Auto parts and the overflow bottle can't be more than the intake.

So $1199 - $180 - $150 (misc parts) leaves us out at about $869....

This is used but the core is in near-mint condition, so I was looking at about $700 to take it all?

Is that fair? Am I missing anything?

That I did sir.

I think the FMIC was on just for the pictures...I think it has maybe at the most 200miles on it.

700 is a fair round number

Anything more is too much - anything less is too little

No, I subtracted $180 for the intake. About the price to drive over TXS and pick one up...and that's for a brand new one.

I'm gonna assemble this thing quick in my room and take a pic.

Would the fmic fit an EJ20g in a GC8 (if it's even still available...)?

AcquaCow
02-26-2006, 07:00 PM
Well, it was on this GC...and the throttle bodies should be in roughly the same location...so I don't see why it wouldn't fit?

There's a good bit of flexibility with all of the silicon joints between the hard plumbing.
