After the 1000 mile break-in: careful driving, no revs over 4000, etc., is it necessary to reset the ECU for the new driving habits-frequent revs, gear changes near red-line, etc. or does the computer self-adjust over time?

I happened to do the silencer mod and added a K&N so I reset mine anyways. Doesn't seem like a bad idea unless you drive under 4000RPM all day like you broke it in. :) Don't forget to let it warm up after reconnecting the battery though. It will idle like **** for a few minutes until you let it warm up.
