Thinking about buying an Accessport within the next few days... I have a complete turboback system and all stock intake system, turboback is my only mod. What differences will I see if I add the Accessport stage 2 to my car? What will it do?

basically, it programs your cars computer to take note that it has a less restrictive exhaust and takes advantage of it reprograming timing, boost, all that stuff.

So will I feel any difference in power?

So let's ask this.... last season at bristol drag strip i ran 13.7 with a turboback exhaust, what should I expect to see with the AP? Just a rough estimate....

if you can drive well, around 13.4ish, again, if you can drive.

and it is worth the money in my opinion. above all i noticed the increased smoothness across the power band, in a close second is the holding of boost up top. and it does increase saftey compared to running a tbe w/o em.

According to Cobb... 1/4 mile : 13.4 @ 101.5 mph
(average times based on our customer's results)

wow that must have been a great launch and super quick shifts to get that time

So really I wouldnt see much of a difference on a time slip... maybe a 13.2ish?

There is a big difference. You should see better times next time you go to the track. The drivability of the car is much better too.

Well it's done I went to Gruppe-s and bought the AP and a complete 5 layer gasket set so I can install my new uppipe and get rid of the old leaking gutted one... So I hope I really enjoy this, I am going to a local dyno day so I will post numbers of my stage 2 with turboback as my only other mod.

You'll be happy. I think the difference between stock and stg 2 has been understated. When boost hits with stg 2, it's like getting punched in the back compared to stock (with stock pipes). I wouldn't call it smooth, but it feels much faster than stock, and the map switching ability is neat. Expect around 230 to the wheels.

Sorry, but to say 13.7 to 13.2 isn't "much of a difference", I'm not sure what you're expecting....

Dude, JUST GET IT!!!!

It's worth it if you have an 04 or 05. I just put it on my 04 wagon with my TBE and its like I have a whole new car! The boost comes on much much sooner, hits higher and is much much more smooth than compared to stock w/ TBE. You hear the turbo spool much more and finally you have soooooo many different programs you can flash onto your comp. theft mode, valet mode, econ. mode, etc...etc...

The only thing that I definitely need for this ride for power and engine management is a catless UP and a set of gauges!

hot-subaru is selling them which free shipping!!!! get one while they are HOT!

don't expect miracle out of AP... you'd better get a protune or PDX map to get the most optimized map. I have PDX map and it is night and day difference. Car pulls like crazy...

First off im a noob, i know that a protune is dyno time but can you explain what a PDX map is??

you send PDX your mod list. They email you a set of maps for $150, which you can use AP to reflash ECU.

So it is basically a protune without getting on the dyno and not having to locate a shop that protunes??I live in michigan and there are no protuners around!

Is there any protuners in Va?

Don't have it yet! Im getting so mad! Gruppe-s said told me last week they should have the AP's in stock by friday, I called friday said they had not gotten them in yet should get them in monday and to call back monday, called back monday said they were not in yet should be there tuesday (today)... I did'nt call today... Also the header gaskets that come with the full gasket set I ordered are not in stock yet either! I'm about ready to cancel this order with gruppe-s and find someone else with everything in stock.

Well you could always cancel it and get it from PDX Tuning. The are like $50 more but they'll give you some custom maps for your setup. And I know they have them in stock because I have been in contact with them and almost ready to order one.

Their not always in the shop to answer the phone but if you email Travis he'll get back to you. His email is travis@pdxtuning.com, tell him Jerimi sent ya!

The only reason I haven't ordered mine is because I have $300 in Subaru bucks. I am thinking about ordering one from a Suby dealer but I won't get those PDX maps! Decisions....Decisions....

not sure if you have decided on this yet or if you still own your car. I have a friend(sti owner)and when he put in his AP, he said it felt like he went from wrx to STi
