Any questions just ask. Everything that I have extra as in old pieces go with the car, ie:exhaust, mounts. Also Delta Dash is included with purchase.
kkam030 02-15-2006, 05:45 PM it seems that you want more than a brand new sti.
AZ2004STi 02-15-2006, 06:54 PM The lowest I will take is $32500. A new one will probably run you $35k out the door, but be 180whp less. I own the car, so I dont really need to sell it. If it sells, it sells. If it doesnt it costs nothing to keep a very fast and fun car in my collection.
mpbikerxt 02-15-2006, 07:31 PM looking to get rid of any extra parts you aren't really gonna use???
AZ2004STi 02-15-2006, 07:33 PM The only extra parts I have is the stock STi exhaust, mounts(engine, tranny, pitch stop) and stock deck.
mpbikerxt 02-15-2006, 08:37 PM no biggie... thanks tho... good luck w/ everything!

I agree with this statement. Especially, since you can get a used 04 with no mods for around $23-25k. I'd rather have a stock one with an extra $10-12k to spend my way on the car.

Getting an 04 in this condition and mileage you will still spend $25k bone stock. To get all the mods and level this car is at, prepare on spending over $40k total. So yes $32500 isnt that bad. The car isnt for everyone, and like I've said before I do not need to sell this car. Its a great car, very fun and fast. Its not my daily driver, and I'm not giving it away. If the buyer wants this car in particular, he'll pay my price or keep looking. Either way I dont care.
ChessMaster 02-16-2006, 08:49 AM That's pricey. How much are the 06s these days? did they hit the 40k mark or can I get one for 36k? I"m in the market for an sti..
AZ2004STi 02-16-2006, 04:07 PM You can get a 06 for realistically $35k out the door. For someone is only cares about it being in stock form, new would be the answer. If you are performance geared, plan on spending a bundle for it to keep up with this 04.
pudnana 02-16-2006, 09:32 PM Not to be a jerk, and I understand you dont need to sell it, but I still think its over priced. You can't make you're money back on mods. I'm not sure all that you have done to the car, but it doesn't seem that there's $15k worth done to it. I wish you the best of luck and if you do find someone to buy it at your price, more power to you. I just think its a waste to list it at that price.

Once again, thanks for an opinion thats means squat in my book. You dont know whats done to the car. Yes there is $15k done to the car, do I need to explain it to you? No, why waste my time. I'm not looking to make my money back on the mods. I put it in as o.b.o meaning $35k is in no way firm or non-negotiable. Bluebook is just under $27k. Like I've said before, if the car is to leave my possesion, it will be on my terms only. If I sound like an ass so be it, I'm still having fun with the car and dont mind keeping it. But having 6 vehicles, is starting to become a parking lot.

Might save time to just list the mods.. It will make it easier for people to grasp.. I have sold a bunch of modded cars, and you are right, when selling a modded car you have to wait for the right ass for the seat.
For 15k i could put a stock car into the 10's however.
AZ2004STi 02-16-2006, 11:19 PM Yes, $15k would easily put a stock car in the 10's. My goal was a dependable fun and fast all around car. I didnt want to ruin the interior with a cage thats needed to run 10's. I wouldnt do a car that can only make 2 passes before getting kicked off the track. If people are genuinely interested they will call. Ones that want to give thier opinion on price arent even considered.
SubyRSdriver 02-17-2006, 04:46 AM holy knights of columbus.. that must be one wicked fast car! that's some serious power no joke.. compared to my 05 RS at least lol.. these people are all just jelous man ;) .. my friends stock 04 STi was like a life changing ride for me.. this thing must be killer!!! id buy it  maybe when I'm 25 and my insurance is 100K a year :furious:

I'm curious, which stock car are you referring to?

An Sti, you know like the car we are talking about in this thread?
borkjam 02-17-2006, 12:55 PM If I remember correctly, Dyno-Comp's car is making some pretty big power (6xx awhp), and it runs mid 11s. I don't even want to venture a guess how much $$ is in that car.
I think it's very possible to get into the 11s for $15K, but the 10s are a whole different league. Granted, I don't get to the track that often, but I've never seen an STi run 10s. Outside of pro racecars, I don't recall hearing of anyone doing it either.
borkjam 02-17-2006, 01:08 PM Here's an STi with 10 sec potential I believe you're familiar with:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=914934
$24,999 + "Hundreds of hours of fabrications and installations"
I know he's trying to sell the car and is maximizing his $ spent, but he's also added:
"Plus many, many, many other unlisted things that it takes to build a car to this scale" :)

This thread is going off topic. If you want to discuss how to build a 10sec car, please feel free to PM me, or hit me up on aim..
Eggas 02-17-2006, 01:29 PM I am in the market to trade up and out of my wrx, and something that has been modded is certainly an option. I would just like to know what mods you have done to the car.. That is all.

borkjam 02-17-2006, 01:33 PM Sorry, Not trying to threadjack.
Topic link - It's another modified STi for sale, helping potential buyers determine current market values.

Sold My 2004 sti with Axis motor, made 389whp on 2opsi for $28,000.
EDIT: and it was hard :furious: to sell, not to many people want to buy fixed up cars
AzSandSlinger 02-18-2006, 09:01 PM Well.. here's my .02..
1. He can ask for whatever he wants for the car.. if he gets it, more power to him..
2. Know that there will only be a limited number of people who will be in the "market" for this type of car.. meaning that no one will be able to "finance" a car like this (without a considerable amount down)... Banks/C.U.'s only look at KBB, they could care less about mods.. This is key because the people who wan't this particular vehicle tend to know exactly what mods should be involved in an overpriced car and plan to have the cash to make up the difference the Bank/C.U. won't cover.. and the price alone will eliminate the so-called young chumps who want an STi that is Uber-modded.. It will have to be a cash-buyer... No bank will finance 125% of KBB at a reasonable rate.. and most banks/C.U.'s don't give a rat's ass about mods..
3. Let him sit on it for however long.. if he sells it, great.. if not, who really cares? Sooner or later one of 2 things are going to happen... either a sucker/cash buyer buys it, or the seller realizes that it will never sell for the pipe-dream they are asking for..
Honestly, good luck to you bro.. I'll be throwing my car to the wolves soon to buy a minivan.. and I'll spread the word to people that I know..

Finally someone who understands. Yes its high priced, and yes only a select few would be able to afford it, because they will have to have the cash as no bank will finance that amount on this particular car.

On the oil cooler, what did you use and where did you mount it?
AZ2004STi 02-22-2006, 04:22 PM I forget which one Dyno Comp used, its the same one they run on their shop car. Same place too, driver's side behind the fog cover.
