I have been reading posts here for about two months and recently I tried to sign up and post. Well, I was having problems and after a couple weeks of trying to solve things with several emails and attempts from tech. support, it wasn't working. But today, I signed up again, though it's under J_outback instead of janikphoto, I can finally speak. I have SOOOO many questions too! I want to make my outback faster and it looks like it shares the same engine as the imprezza. Well I know they are both 2,5 boxers but I mean they look like many performance mods will work on both...

The full size Outback wagon is based on the Legacy chassis but does share some Impreza parts. If you have the Outback Sport wagon, it is an Impreza and virtually everything will work. Check out http://www.cobbtuning.com/ for a peek at parts designed specifically for the Legacy! :)

Just remember that the Outback and Outback Sport run with higher suspension so they don't corner as well as the flat Legacy or Impreza...keep that in mind when you start your modifications.

It took me THREE years just to convince her to let me get the outback! I finally sold my truck so I'd HAVE to get something new. When we were looking, I said, "Let's just look at the outbacks anyway." Of course she loves me enough and finally saw that it was the only car for me... I'm gonna have to add parts ever so slowly with that big payment keeping me down...
