Alright i know this problem has been talked over plenty of times, but i cant seem to fix it! I recently bought a cobb accessport for my 04 wrx, which also has a cat-back exhaust and a BOV. I put the base map & real time map as the stage1/91. When i put it on live boost read, the highest i ever get is 9.8 psi!! I see everyone posting their stock wrx's reaching 13-14 psi and mine is no where close! I have done the Ecu reset, but with no effect, i also looked for boost leaks but there are none that i can see, does anyone know what to do? (Wrx Stock boost is 13-14psi right?) thanks!

what gear are in? you may need the HWG map

I have tried it in 1st, 2nd, & 3rd gear, its the same in all three..., ill try that tho, but does anyone know the exact stock boost for wrx's?

around 13.5 and dont reflash realtime over base if its the same map i was told (Cobb AP issues thread) that it can cause problems.....

Maybe the boost leak is your BOV... Try running it with the stock one.

also max boost should be read in 4th gear. did you used to have a boost controller of any sort MB or EBC

get a mechanical boost gauge and see what happens with that

Don't have a BOV unless you have it properly tuned or have a turbo swap.

I would definitely swap the stock BOV back on and check the BOV gasket for leaks.

not sure why but they just say "use at your own risk".

I did have a mbc and then switched to an ebc, but they are both removed now because i decided to be nice to my car :) . I have tried to switch bov's but that doesnt help at all. if i shouldnt have the base & real maps the same but i want to be stage 1\91, how should i set it up, thanks!

do you have the pill?

try the stock map to make sure you its not the map you are using

sounds like you are missing the restrictor pill in the 1 st little vacume hose off the turbo. Check if it's there, squeez it in the midle and you should feel it there.

Would have been helpful if you listed aftermarket boost control as one of your mods in the first place. Post 14 is probably dead on. This is a classic mistake new owners make, I hope you kept your original hoses.

i do not have aftermarket boost control, i DID months ago but took it off., I have tried everything, but nothins worked, im lost.

By "everything" do you mean you followed the advice in post 14?
