OK first and foremost NOT A EZ30R!

I started searching and found some info. I just wanted to put it up here to see what the conversion forum has to say. I talked to PHATsuby but his swap although somewhat similar is of course the EZ30R. He gave me the link to http://linaracing.com I've looked over some of his stuff. What I want to do is put a STOCK and leave it stock EZ30 in my legacy. I was looking at a 01 to a 03 engine with what has been said and done it should fit. Or was there something about the fans not fitting? Of course my car is a legacy so there may or may not be extra room for some Items. My car is also an auto so how hard should the transfer be to a stock auto ECU for the EZ30?
What else would I need, a full wire harness or just a engine? I'm I missing some important Items, or is this a good list to start with?

So any thought would be greatly appreciated.

Matt.

fans dont fit in impreza. legacy has enough room for fans. get the full harness for the car. ecu mounts in same spot. wiring runs in same spot. but the splicing and connecting is where you'll spend most of the time with tedious work. keep diggin your almost there. source all parts and hav ready b4 starting. -keith

Yeah thats the plan at least get a good start on parts. Source them out pricing ect. My engine has lots of life left in it so this is a project for when its good and old. But I like that fact that it will use the same stock locations I want to get as stock a transfer as possible.

You need the full wiring harness for sure. Check with anders (the linaracing guy) about what he had to do
