It's pretty much standard to be able to shoehorn just about any suby motor into just about any suby body.... Does anyone know if the EZ30 (6 cylinder legacy motor) could be swapped into an impreza (MY05 currently w/EJ25)?

Please search before starting new threads! EZ30(R)'s will fit into any model Impreza.

in the uk on a forum we HELP each other even if the questions have been asked on the forum before! its just the nicer way to do it and its the way id like to be treated! after all isnt the whole point of an internet forum to share advice and tales?
it just winds me up when someone asks an innocent question and gets crap for no point! completely un called for!

Yes, it's possible, but there are some issues to consider. These are detailed in both Ben's and Slack's H6 swap threads.

So, the new guy ignores the FAQ at the top of the page which has the info he wants, plus ignores two other threads in this forum from the same day with the same info, and Slack was very polite with suggesting to do a search and still you say he was being a prick for saying what he said?
We get the same questions on here all the time every few days or few weeks, or in this case the same day, there are just not enough people who know enough with enough time to answer all these questions which is why we HAVE to ask people to search for answers before asking...
If you have a problem with that, then keep it to yourself.

[sincere advice]Quit bitching now, before it gets ugly. Thousands have been here with this attitude of, "I don't want to use the search button, just answer my goddam questions!", and it always ends in tears. So far you've been lucky and only the polite guys have posted.[/sincere advice]

Anything's possible with time and money, but that doesn't mean its a worthwhile project.
